		<description>I totally agree with Sari Gordon.  Constant Contact is made up of puritanical monkeys.  I had the exact same problem as Sari, except that I had used their service for years.  They got one complaint from someone claiming they didn&#039;t remember signing up for our newsletter, and they suspended our account.  Years of work, carefully cultivating our subscribers and building our list, sending surveys on improving the relevancy of our newsletter, analyzing the results, and the html templates is now down the tubes.  

Forget that we are one of the good guys.  We only use best practices in our email.  They actually asked us to provide them with documentation to prove where we got every one of our subscribers.  How many people running a business can do that?  I&#039;d say zero. When we told them that we couldn&#039;t possibly do that, they moved all of our subscribers to the &quot;Do Not Mail&quot; pile.  Once tour subscribers were on the Do Not Mail file, none of them could ever be emailed again through Constant Contact.  

Actually, I&#039;ve seen monkeys at the zoo with more social grace and intelligence.  It was clear to me that their &quot;compliance&quot; people are evangelists, they had no time to review our practices, and they&#039;re more concerned with getting to their lunch break and meetings than helping a distressed customer and running an email services business.  Their customer service is a disgrace.  They&#039;re downright disrespectful and live in total fear of making any decisions that buck the almighty compliance tsar at CC.  

Constant Contact used to be a great company.  They&#039;ve grown too big, too fast, and they don&#039;t have any idea or loyalty to the people who put them there.

I hope some good will come out of this.

		<description>oh man, honk if you hate constant contact! i&#039;m a small agency, working for a very small merchants association for a village of 97 people. constant contact will not grant us the benefit of their services because some old email address for one of the 30 businesses in town was flagged as a spammer. know one can say who or where or when, but i&#039;m begging for business? after spending 6 hours perfecting a CC campaign only to be told that my account has been suspended? what? 5 phone calls, 6 idiots all treating me like it&#039;s a privilege to use them? thanks for reminding me about mail chimp, they are great!</description>
