The summer is here and so is the sun. I ask everyone who reads this to please make sure wear your sun block daily – face, neck, chest, hands, everything! If you’re going to hang out by the pool or at the beach, bring that 80 SPF cream with you! What I’m trying to say is SKIN CANCER is not cool. Neither is your red skin tan… or your wrinkled saggy leathery flesh.
Us humans… we’re not supposed to have red skin. Our flesh wasn’t designed for us to sit under the sun for 3+ hours just to burn it — and for what, beauty? What’s so beautiful about burned skin? “Hey, look at me. My tan is so cool. I’m red like a lobster.” Wow, way to go. That’s not a tan, that’s your flesh burning.
The last time I checked, the sun is a gigantic burning ball of fire!!! By exposing unprotected skin to it, you’re asking for burned skin! Now what’s so attractive sounding about UV-Radiation? Skin cancer? Melanoma?
Now I’m not saying “Hey, don’t go the beach, or don’t go outside.” All I’m saying is please wear sunblock that’s at least 50 SPF. And don’t over-expose yourself just because you want to look “tan.”

Yay! I found your blog! I also found your music on MySpace – double score for me today!! xoxo Heather B.
